Mini Laptop Review

- Is the sony mini laptop (netbook) worth it's price?

I was looking through amazon, and saw the sony netbook. I liked how it looked, it's futures, but it's price? Is that price worth it? (price is $649.89) Also, I want it to be able to do a few futures like: Able to go on MSN Able to surf the Internet Able to play games like funorb, runescape, wow, etc. (i dont play wow and barley play runescape anymore :D) Able to go on FLVS.net Able to have Microsoft office And other stuff but I'm sure if this stuff would work much other stuff would too. A Absolutely! For one thing it has a 160GB hard drive, which is a nice amount of space for a netbook, it also has 1.6 GHz processor and a 1 GB of RAM which are also good for a netbook this size. However you won't be doing any heavy gaming on a netbook as it has integrated Intel GMA 950 on board graphics. When I say heavy gaming I mean games like FEAR, G.O.W, and Crysis. I have a Sony SZ model and I have never had a problem with it in the 2 years I've owned it.

- What is the resale value of a Sony Vaio PCG-505g mini laptop?
The laptop was originally sold in 2004 and comes with Windows 98. Is there a market for this type of laptop? Is it collectible? Sorry, it was originally sold in 1998. The series ran until 2004, when they ended this line of computers.

A Probably $75 to $150, depending on condition. There is a small market for old laptops, but don't expect to get a lot for it. Most laptops made in the last ten years or so are common and have little collectible value. PS. A computer that shipped in 2004 wouldn't have come with Windows 98.
